The city`s animal and nature grounds are brilliant spots where parents should take their kids to learn more about the native fauna and flora before travelling around the country. From thrilling cobra shows to a butterfly wonderland there is as much fun as educational value in the kids’ parks of Bangkok.
1.SIAM PARK CITY
Families and adrenaline seekers will love the Siam Park City. This thrilling amusement park offers endless entertainment, including Water Park, Family World, X-Zone, Dinotopia Museum, Safari Park, Camping for Kids, Small World and Fantasy World, and indeed this is a world of joy and excitement for anyone.
One can easily spend an entire day here and have fun on the park`s refreshing slides and exhilarating rides but also at the fantastic food court that offers all sorts of Thai but also international food.
The Dream World is a copy of Disneyland, and it is one of the most popular theme parks in Bangkok to visit. For children, this is a place where fantasies become realities; whether it is sleighing or making snow angels in Snow Land, riding a rollercoaster up Space Mountain or meeting Cinderella and Pocahontas all in one day!

4.FANTASIA LAGOON WATER PARK
The Fantasia Lagoon Water Park is built on the roof of The Mall Bankai. Huge pools, large sliders, attractive games and other entertainments and great food are available in the complex. The Fantasy Fountains, Pirate Cove, Slider Tower, Magic Jungle, Mystery Island and the Ocean boast water activities, games and fun features.

6.DINOSAUR PLANET THEME PARK
Dedicated to the prehistoric beasts, the Dinosaur Planet Theme Park will certainly raise the attention of every child! From the snarling T-Rex to packs of flying dinosaurs, the park features more than 200 life-sized, pretty impressive models of these enormous extinct animals. Placed in different terrain and surrounded by the volcanoes the complex will not only amaze with its visual effects but also informative and educational content.
7.SNOW TOWN BANGKOK
Snow Town Bangkok is a white complex built in the tropics will definitely revive its visitors. The indoor themed village with a play area of artificial snow is located in the Gateway Ekkamai Mall. A slope with sleighs and skis to hire, Snow Playground and plenty of shops, restaurants and playgrounds for all ages will greet the visitors; remember to wear jackets, gloves and beanies!

The Snake Farm is part of an institute that specialises in research of snake venom – Thailand is home to more than 60 venomous snakes, including the spitting cobra. Set up to produce anti-venom serum for nor rarely snake-bitten victims nationwide, it is an excellent sanctuary with informative and educational displays, many different breeds of vipers, cobras, kraits and thrilling Cobra shows every day.
Dusit Zoo is the oldest zoo in Thailand and a popular family destination in Bangkok with lots of educational and amusement facilities. The animal park has an animal hospital, zoo museum and educational centre and it features a lovely sightseeing terrain, lots of activities and a food court.
More than 1.500 species live in the zoo, including the Bengal Tigers, and the visitors can enjoy various feeding sessions throughout the day. Moreover, the zoo is surrounded by important landmarks such as the Throne Hall, Thai Parliament and the Royal Residence.
A little fairyland is to be experienced at the Butterfly Garden in Bangkok. Vast, lofty enclosures with rockeries, shady ferns, exotic flowers and refreshing waterfalls dotted with radiant insects are to be expected – and the best thing is that you can walk through this little paradise!
12.SIAM OCEAN WORLD
A popular aquatic complex is situated underneath the glitzy Siam Paragon Mall, and this spectacular underground aquarium is one of the largest in Asia. The Siam Ocean World features innovative, world-class exhibits and more than 30.000 different sea-creatures from all over the globe; from the Amazon through the Jurassic era to the deadliest ocean predators – all that can be enjoyed in the 27-degree underwater tunnel or a glass-bottom boat.
The Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm is proud of holding the world`s largest crocodile in captivity – the 6 m long Yai. The world`s largest crocodile farm is known for crocodile wrestling, acrobatic elephant shows but more importantly for the keepers putting their heads into crocodiles mouth without being bitten – well, most of the times! The place also serves as an education and research centre for wildlife and conservation.
